Laboratory Technician IVPT / IVRT (m/f/d)

Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed vocational training in a laboratory discipline, or a comparable qualification
  • Initial professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, a bioanalytical laboratory or a comparable setting; experience with skin permeation is an advantage
  • Practical knowledge of relevant analytical methods such as HPLC, dissolution/release testing and spectroscopy (e.g. UV/VIS, FTIR, IR) and pharmacopoeial methods, along with hands-on use of the associated instrumentation; experience with Franz cells is an advantage
  • Willingness to work with animal and human skin
  • High reliability, strong problem-solving skills, and a structured, self-directed way of working
  • High motivation, flexibility and a strong team spirit
  • Proficiency with standard office software (MS Office); experience with Chromeleon is an advantage

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting permeation studies on artificial membranes, animal skin and human skin
  • Independent, GMP-compliant execution and documentation of analytical methods for active ingredients, intermediates and finished dosage forms, in accordance with the applicable analytical methods, SOPs and GMP guidelines in relevant areas (e.g. liquid chromatography, release testing), as well as common pharmacopoeial methods (e.g. Karl Fischer titration, titration, wet-chemical analyses)
  • Supporting the analytical scientists in developing analytical methods for active ingredients, intermediates and finished dosage forms, in accordance with the applicable GMP guidelines in relevant areas (e.g. liquid chromatography, release testing) and common pharmacopoeial methods (e.g. Karl Fischer titration)
  • Performing method validations
  • Optimising existing analytical methods and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues
  • Creating and revising standard operating procedures (SOPs), equipment instructions (EDs), analytical methods (AMs) and deviations
  • Handling tasks within the framework of CAPAs, deviations and changes
  • Equipment ownership, including maintenance and (re-)qualification, as well as creating and revising the related SOPs
  • Supporting the organisation of the analytical laboratory (ordering, goods receipt, sampling, monitoring, etc.)
