Ekolab’s expertise lies in analyzing environmental samples, fuels, and industrial products. Due to rapid growth, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team.

Role Overview

As the Business Development Manager for Environment, you will drive our expansion in the Slovak and Czech markets, focusing on environmental analysis services. This role combines strategic business development with technical expertise in analytical chemistry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with our growth objectives
• Acquire new clients and nurture existing relationships in the environmental sector
• Identify customer needs and prepare tailored proposals
• Meet or exceed sales targets through proactive client engagement
• Monitor market trends and report on business development activities
• Negotiate contracts and business terms
• Manage key accounts and ensure smooth project handovers to operations
• Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams through various communication channels

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemistry, preferably in Analytical or Organic Chemistry
• 3-5 years of professional experience in a related field
• Fluency in Slovak and English; Czech language skills are a plus
• Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and methods
• Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in a technical field
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems
• Driving licence

Desired Skills

• Experience in a laboratory setting, particularly in analytical chemistry
• Familiarity with environmental analytical services and regulations
• Project management experience
• Knowledge of the Slovak and Czech environmental market landscapes
